If you need a car seat, have concerns about possible damage in the earthquake, want to check yours is fit to go and correctly installed or get some advice Plunket schemes are available throughout New Zealand.

If you are concerned about costs contact the local WINZ office to discuss possible grants. Call 0800 559 009 to make an appointment with the office near you. Read the section on financial assistance.

Sleeping
We know its hard to stick with routines and systems when you have been displaced from your home. Be mindful to keep safety practises up whatever your sleeping conditions now. Remember – face up, face clear, smoke free will help keep your baby safe.
