A voluntary product recall alert has been issued for the Babywise 3 in 1 car seat. The harness tension lock may be faulty, posing a potential safety hazard to young children.

The seats were purchased from Warehouse stores between 1 March and 24 June 2011.

The Warehouse reccomends that customers stop using the seat and return it to any Warehouse store for a full refund. All customers will receive a refund for their purchase. To assist with the processing of refunds, customers are requested to provide their receipt where possible. Receipts will refer to the barcode 9-400023-330787.

The Warehouse apologises for any inconvenience caused by this recall.
