The SUB Stride or Ride Event, hosted by Sarah Ulmer and held in Cambridge on Mother’s Day, has raised $7,000 for Plunket families displaced by the Christchurch earthquake
Plunket CEO Jenny Prince said that the funds will make a real difference to the services Plunket can offer to the families of Christchurch.
“Many families have fled to outlying regions, and are seeking Plunket support and we’re noticing an increase in demand for services around the country.
“We’re tremendously grateful to Sarah personally and to SUB for their support at this time”.
Sarah, Mum to 18-month-old Lilly, says Plunket was a natural choice.
“Plunket are an awesome organisation and we’re stoked to be able to give something back.”
Plunket clients who have left Christchurch are encouraged to contact the local Plunket office or clinic in their new location, or to phone PlunketLine (0800 933 922) to re-establish contact with Plunket.
