The Future Families project was set up with the aim of forecasting plausible futures for New Zealand families and exploring how Plunket can best help. Possible scenarios were developed from feedback from workshops held round New Zealand, and from research conducted by various organisations on economic trends and other sociological factors.

Each of our Future Casts tells a story of one fictional family and what their life could be like in 2031. We're using these Future Casts to help plan Plunket's future. By imagining the needs of future families, we can improve the way we do things now, and in the future.
