Counties Manukau Plunket sees between 7500-8500 babies born to families per year. We are a large multi cultural and ethnic team of 114 staff reflecting the diversity in our community. There are 68 Plunket nurses, 8 Community Karitane, 11 Plunket Kaiawhina and 10 Parents as First Teachers (PAFT) staff supported by 17 administrative staff.

PEPE Parenting Education Plunket have a range of FREE courses available for parents and caregivers aimed at supporting their role through the different stages of their child's early development. These are delivered through facilitated group discussions and cover most of the 'basics' while allowing for input and direction from the course participants.Three parenting groups are offered.
