Jeanette Nathan

In 2004, Jeanette returned to Aotearoa to be with whānau, after living in Australia for almost 30 years. On her father’s side, she is of Ngati Whatua descent and of Ngati Kahu descent on her mother’s side.

Jeanette is blessed with a son, gifted to her by her youngest sister and it was then that her contact with Plunket started.

Jeanette is currently employed as a Community Health Worker/ Aukati Kaipaipa (Smoking Cessation Coach) for Te Ha Oranga (Iwi Health Provider) based in Wellsford. She supports the vision to reduce the demand for tobacco and eliminate it as a normal consumer product by 2020.

She enjoys being amongst whānau and friends and thoroughly enjoys watching and supporting her son playing sports.
