As a Plunket client you have certain rights. All these rights apply when you receive or are involved in Plunket services and take part in any Plunket teaching or research.
You have the right to:
If you don’t feel you can approach Plunket themselves, you can also seek support from an advocate through the Health and Disability Commissioner, who will advise you about your rights and help with the complaint. This is a free and confidential service.
If you do not wish to complain to Plunket or use an advocate you may also approach the Health and Disability Commissioner’s Office online or on 0800 11 22 33.
All of these rights also apply when you agree to take part in any teaching process or any research approved by Plunket’s ethics committee.
