Sarah’s grandparents live in Auckland so we thought as
soon as we have found our feet we would go up and see them,
as well as Sarah’s parents in Hamilton. We drove up to Hamilton on the first day. Daniel slept most
of the way but we stopped in Turangi and Sarah fed him.
Our second to last antenatal class on Thursday 1st of July
and both Sarah and I worked late that evening. It was a goal
of ours to not work too much after 5pm as we knew our
priorities were going to change when the little man arrived. We went to our antenatal class and Sarah was complaining
that the little man was feeling rather low.
The 20 week scan came and went and you could see everything
about my son Daniel now. His little feet, his little toes,
his eyes, his head, and his arms - and of course finding out
he was going to be a boy. I wouldn’t have cared either way boy or girl but every man
wants a boy to show him things.
