Volunteers are the heart of Plunket

International Volunteers Day on 5 December is a chance to acknowledge and thank more than one million New Zealanders who give their time and skills to make a difference in their communities every year. For the past 106 years the passion and dedication of volunteers has enabled Plunket to give New Zealand parents the knowledge and support they need to nurture healthy, happy kiwi babies. Plunket New Zealand President Tristine Clark says volunteers are what make Plunket different from other Well Child providers.

Please help us Build a Bus

You may remember our story about our Plunket Build a Bus appeal.  This went live a few weeks ago and so far, organisations around New Zealand have generously donated over $35,000 for Plunket mobile clinics. We still need to raise another $20,000 to get our first new mobile clinic and if we do that by 31 December, LeasePlan - our fleet partner, have offered to match donations up to the value of a second bus!
We’d love to be able to take advantage of this wonderful offer – so please help us reach our target.
