Plunket thanks volunteers helping families in every corner of NZ

National Volunteer Week (21-27 June) is a chance for Plunket to celebrate the thousands of volunteers across the country, and the different ways they give their time to support families with young children. “Volunteers founded Plunket in 1907 to ‘help the mothers and save the babies’, and over a century later, volunteers are still at the heart of our services for families today,” said Andree Talbot, Plunket New Zealand President. “National Volunteer Week is a chance for us to say thank you to all those who give their time and their individual skills to help families in our region, this week and every week.
