Nominate a Plunket Volunteer in the 2014 Minister of Health Volunteer Awards

Volunteer educationWith nominations now open for the Minister of Health Volunteer Awards, now is a good time to think about a Plunket Volunteer who has made an impact in your community.

The awards not only recognise outstanding individuals, teams and organisations, but they raise awareness around the important and valuable role volunteers play.

Last year’s award recipients ranged in age from 14 to 85, and their stories were wide ranging and very inspiring. You can see last year’s winners here.

If you think there’s a ‘Plunket Unsung Hero’ in your area, and you think they deserve a bit of recognition, please nominate them on the Volunteer Awards website.  If you'd like to become a volunteer yourself, you can register on our website.

Nominations close 17th April 2014 and the awards will be presented during National Volunteer Week from 15-21 June 2014.
