Christine Lake

Christine was appointed as Chairperson of the Royal New Zealand Plunket Trust in November 2017. Prior to that Christine held the role of New Zealand President of the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society.

Christine is a born and bred Cantabrian and a mother of two boys. She first joined Plunket when she returned to New Zealand after a few years in the UK as a way of meeting new people in Christchurch.

She has been a Plunket volunteer in Canterbury since 2000, and has worked in a variety of roles including Entity Treasurer, Family Centre President, Branch President, New Zealand Councillor and now National Board member since 2010.

Christine is passionate about the support Plunket gives families in those crucial early years. In her spare time she enjoys the occasional social round of golf. Christine is also a Board Member of the Dyspraxia Support Group of NZ.
