COVID-19 Update Important update: COVID-19
We’re adapting our services so we can support whānau, especially those who need us the most, while also supporting the wider health system’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’ve launched a prioritised virtual version of our Well Child service, so we can continue to support whānau following the Government’s move to raise the COVID-19 Alert level to Level 4, which has meant the suspension of all Plunket’s face-to-face services.

We are prioritising our Well Child services for the following:

  • All whānau with newborn tamariki from 0-3 months
  • Whānau Māori and Pacific peoples who have been assessed as having immediate needs
  • All whānau who are assessed as having long-term needs

These services will be provided over the phone and by video conferencing, and along with PlunketLine are classed as essential services. If there are whānau with needs that can’t be met in these ways, we will look to provide them with more direct support.

Our services are going to look a little different – but we’re still here for you and our priority is to ensure that no parents or caregivers feel isolated or alone during this challenging time.

Manaaki tetahi ki tetahi, he waka eke noa – look after one another, we’re all in this together.
