Known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali (also known as Deepavali) is one of the most significant celebrations in the Hindu calendar.
It is a time when families and communities come together to light lamps and candles, create colourful rangoli patterns, enjoy traditional sweets, wear new clothes, and offer prayers for good health, happiness, prosperity, and new beginnings.
For tamariki, Diwali can be a wonderful opportunity to take part in family traditions, explore colour and creativity, and learn about the meaning behind this special celebration.
We hope these free Diwali colouring sheets bring joy, creativity, and a touch of Diwali's light into your home as you celebrate with your loved ones.
