Our new five-year strategy is based on kotahitanga: unity and togetherness. Together with communities and partners, we’re evolving how we work so we can better support today’s diverse whānau and remain relevant and impactful for future tamariki, giving them the best start to life.

Our purpose
We work alongside whānau in their communities, supporting the growth, development and wellbeing of children under five.
Through Kotahitanga – Our Strategy, we will focus on the ways we can make the biggest difference for tamariki and whānau. We will support whānau in ways that work for them, strengthen how we work across Plunket and with our partners, focus on early support, and use data to deliver the best outcomes for whānau.
Our strategy also reaffirms our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and to building equity into all of the services we provide.
