East Otago Water Confidence Class

Qualified swim instructors from Just Swim Dunedin provide group lessons for babies, toddlers and preschoolers age 6 months to 5 years to help instill water confidence and teach basic swimming skills.

The group sizes are limited to a maximum of 8 for under-threes and 3 for over-threes. Lessons are 25 minutes long for under-threes and 20 minutes for over-threes. A parent or caregiver must be present in the water with under-threes.

The cost will vary depending on the amount of sessions provided and the amount of funding obtained in order to subsidise the cost. The cost is usually in the region of $35 for under-threes and $60 for over-threes.
