Playgroups foster children's mental health and well-being by providing opportunities for social interaction, emotional regulation, and skill development through structured and unstructured play.

We offer a safe environment for children to explore their feelings, experiment with different roles, and learn how to navigate social situations. This contributes to their overall emotional maturity and resilience, to help develop an understanding of emotions and social cues, and get them ready for kindergarten.

This playgroup offers a chance for parents to connect with others, share experiences, and build support networks, which can reduce feelings of isolation and improve overall well-being.

It also provides opportunities for parents to learn new parenting strategies, social skills, and foster their child's development, further contributing to a more positive and confident parenting experience.

Our group is free to attend. No booking or prior registration is needed, but if you want to attend regularly you will need to register as this is an MOE-funded group.

Bring a healthy snack and change of clothes for your child if needed.

Please join our Hobsonville Pips Playgroup Facebook group to find out more and connect with local whānau.
