28 August 2025

We’re proud to share that two more Plunket immunisation clinics launched this month in Whakatāne and Westgate Massey, Auckland. This brings our total to 12 services now operating across the motu, with more opening soon as part of our partnership with Health New Zealand.

This rapid growth has been made possible thanks to the dedication of our kaimahi, with 29 authorised vaccinators now delivering immunisations and another 69 staff currently in training. Their commitment to upskilling ensures more whānau can access vaccinations in safe, trusted Plunket spaces.

Our flexible services are delivered in Plunket centres, at community events, through mobile and pop-up clinics, and in whānau homes. Alongside our own sites, Plunket nurses also provide immunisations from the Health New Zealand clinic in Masterton.

Our next clinic opens this Friday 29 August in Mt Wellington (Sylvia Park), with further sites planned in the coming months.

By making immunisations more accessible, we’re helping protect pēpi and tamariki against preventable illnesses like whooping cough and measles, and supporting whānau with trusted advice and a family-friendly experience.

Talk to your Plunket nurse or call our friendly admin team to make a booking on 0800 184 803.

“I was very happy with my immunisations today… I want to come back here for all of the immunisations from now on. It’s also so nice to have faces that know my baby around – it makes such a nice difference.” – Taihape māmā
