Earlier this month, Whānau Āwhina Plunket opened two new immunisations sites in Taupō and Rotorua.
These new sites expand access to childhood immunisations at a time when measles is continuing to spread across Aotearoa. The launch days ran smoothly, with enthusiastic engagement from the community and a strong start from our local teams.
Plunket continues to work closely with local providers and community partners to ensure whānau can get immunised in places they know and trust. More sites will open over the coming months.
It is another important milestone in Plunket’s immunisation partnership with Health New Zealand. Together, we’re reducing barriers, providing whānau with more choice, and helping to protect our communities for generations to come.
