Miraka Māma Breastfeeding Group

Miraka Māma is an award-winning initiative and a coffee group with a difference. Everyone is welcome.

It provides peer support, with an IBCLC on hand, alongside coffee and kai in a warm and welcoming environment.

One of the real strengths of Miraka Māmā has been the social connection that develops between whānau. For some, it has been genuinely life-changing, with strong social connections and friendships being formed and retained. It provides a positive space where breastfeeding is normalised and whānau can connect with others on a similar journey.
