Plunket, Inspiring Communities, UNICEF, and Every Child Counts recently combined forces to commission a study to find out what the success factors are within a community-led initiative that brings change to families and communities.
The research examined 21 community-led projects and services that have been making a difference to children and families for between one year and 26 years.
It found there were several essential elements to success.
We believe this research will help us, government and other agencies provide assistance in more effective and positive ways.
