The course has five modules and can either be run as a one-day course or taught over five sessions.
This is a great choice to run in term four when older students are on study leave.
Topics
This course covers how to care for a child from pregnancy through to the early years. It provides important information about child development and why nurturing is so crucial to brain development.
Topics include:
- baby on board (keeping safe in pregnancy)
- ages and stages
- nurturing (brain developments and behaviours)
- keeping safe
- basic needs.
