Whānau Āwhina Plunket and Loopy Tunes have released 100 fun, upbeat and interactive kids’ songs integrating 10 different Pacific languages for the whole whanau to sing along to.

Pasifika Beatz is an exciting collaboration between Whānau Āwhina Plunket, local musicians Loopy Tunes and the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Auckland Plunket playgroup Pasifika Beatz.

The songs are a mix of reinterpretations and translations of nursery rhymes and traditional cultural songs, and are available (free!) in Māori, Kiribati, Cook Islands Māori, Rotuman, Samoan, Tongan, Tuvaluan, Fijian, Niuean and Tokelauan.

These catchy tunes are a great way to help children learn and preserve the Pacific languages.
