Business Services

  • Responsible for Plunket property, vehicles, print collateral, management of corporate overheads’ at National Office
  • National Supplier contracts
  • Support for Area administration

Finance & Centralised Accounting

  • Responsible for all financial and management reporting and maintenance and distribution of financial based information for the national society
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and attainment of a clean external audit report
  • Provision of financial advice and support to volunteer entities including preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, management of investment funds and treasurer training

Funding, Marketing & Communications

  • Develops new funding initiatives and fosters and manages relationships with the goal of raising finances to support the services Plunket provides
  • Facilitates all advertising, promotions, proactive and reactive media, publications and print support materials and delivers events internally and externally
  • Works with all areas of Plunket to ensure all communication is consistent with the brand values and guidelines of the organisation

Information Communication Technology

  • Comprised of a Project, and Operations team, working as one supportive unit in collaboration with national office business units, operations teams and volunteer community
  • Provide effectiveness and efficiency through the implementation and support of enabling technologies to all Plunket ICT users

People and transformation

  • Focused on creating a positive enabling culture through building the capability of managers to develop high performing teams to ensure Plunket remains relevant, grows its services and is socially innovative
  • Leads the development of strategies and policies
  • Provides advice, support and coaching on people related issues and activities including recruitment, performance management, leadership development and payroll

Quality & Risk Management

  • Conducts the annual internal audit plan of entities and key national office functions
  • Provides guidance and advice for employees and volunteers working on quality systems for best practice improvements
