Measles in NZ

There are current cases of measles in Aotearoa New Zealand. Make sure tamariki and the whole whānau have had 2 doses of the MMR vaccine. Find out more

Waterview Playgroup is a result of a collaboration between the Waterview Community, Kāinga Ora residents, Auckland Council, Waterview Kindergarten Association Childcare, Waterview Primary School, and Whānau Āwhina Plunket.

We run a free, drop-in playgroup once a week for families with tamariki aged under 5 years old in a safe and healthy environment.

Tamariki get valuable educational and social experiences, and parents get to meet and make new friends and share parenting experiences.

Please bring a change of clothes, and a snack and a drink for your child if needed. Refreshments are also provided for everyone

Supporting families and whānau is one of the most important things Plunket does, and playgroups are an essential part of this.

This community group is providing a safe venue and activities that help parents/caregivers settle their young children into the area, create learning opportunities, meet other parents, connect with local services and make their lives a little easier when becoming parents or coming to a new community.
